This was no ordinary, grocery store ice cream. This was AMAZING ice cream. This was "skip dinner, we're going to Fentons for dessert" ice cream. Well, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Sarah somehow talked us into TWO kids scoops!

...and then not excited about her choice in ice cream flavor. Typical. We tried sharing what we had and offered ordering a new scoop, but nothing would tame the beast. Exactly the reaction you want when you spend $3.50 on a kids scoop!
Fentons. Can't wait to go back.

i want some. let's plan a trip, stay with niki, and eat ice cream all day.
we went to fentons two years ago, and it was JUST as good as i remembered it too. i didn't see our old house, walnut creek, or anything else from my childhood...but i insisted on fentons.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets it. I'll be there next week. I can't wait!
ohhhh......i want a black and tan this second! i also loved the lemon icecream, and the cookie was delicious.
