San Francisco

In March, we went up to the Bay Area. Brent had to work in Sacramento for a day or two, so we decided to extend that into a few days visiting Grandpa & Grandma Bousfield in Menlo Park. We had a great time doing some of the San Francisco tourist things (be sure to buy Alcatraz tickets in advance, especially during spring break), learned some things about our kids (they are FREAKS about trains) and visited some of the places that were special to me as a kid.

Overlooking the city

We went down to Fisherman's Wharf for lunch and to look at some of the tall ships

Sarah was ready to take us full speed ahead...

With Allison at the wheel. Yeah, that's a good plan...

Nate would probably be a better captain.

This looks like a better job for Allison.

I RARELY get any pictures of Brent. It was good to see him having fun with his mom. She's always lots of fun!

From Fisherman's Wharf, we headed to the Cable Car line for a ride up to Lombard Street.

Grandpa was a good sport and waited in the long line of cars to drive down with Allison and Nate.

On the way out of town, we saw "Anonymous" protesting the Church of Scientology.

And that was the end of a very busy day.

Fun pictures of your trip to San Francisco. I have to say that you have an adorable family and that you never, ever take a bad picture. You always look so good in every picture I've seen of you. Love the one with Allison asleep at the end!

I am in Asia now, you make me miss home.

Love the photo of the Scientology protesters. The guy in the wrestling mask really lends credence to the cause. Ha ha.
